Kaye, Fendrick Appointments JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 12.— The directors of the New York division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, at a meeting here Thursday night, unanimously voted to appoint Dr. Alexander Kaye as advisory physician and retain Jerome J. Fendrick as counsel. Dr. Kaye has served the Jockeys Guild in a similar capacity for many years. Fendrick at present is engaged in an action to have the sales tax on the claiming of horses in New York City voided on the grounds that it is discriminatory and that claims are not true sales.
