JANINA, in closest attendance to BULLISH after a quarter mile, came to the inside for the, drive and under good handling was up in the final strides to outgame the latter. BULLISH held a slight lead when settled for the stretch run, faltered during the late stages, but had enough left to be best of the others. GRUMPITO made up some ground when hard ridden through the stretch. FLOATING CLOWN was forced to take the overland route when making his belated bid. LITTLE CAPTAIN lacked a rally.
