The entries brim over to a three-horse "also eligible" list, thereby assuring a full field for the affair if the track remains fast. One of the strong names in the line-up is that of Enforcer, who is generally regarded as just about the pick of the Ulinois-breds hereabouts, and he with Pnut Vendor, will be burdened the heaviest, each, slated to tote 112 pounds. Enforcer was the extreme outsider in the Crete Handicap, first stake of the season, and finished seventh but was probably in need of that race as his opposition on the morrow is not so formidable as were the Crete runners. Pnut Vendor in his lone venture postward here was beaten a neck by Prop on a heavy track. Many other horses scheduled to contest the Blue Larkspur have shown by "in the money" races recently they are prepared to give a good account of themselves. Diamond Lane was third back of Circus Clown and Seaward and Mr. Bam beat Rose Bed and Tordar. Among others in the entries are Wondring, Frenabilbepa, Not Sorry, and War Talk. The race will mark the local bow of Dixi-anas Wondring, a speester of note hereabouts in recent years. The distance of the feature will be six furlongs. 111 direct contrast to several days since the meeting began, entries for tomorrows sport closed in jig time and racing secretary Bogenschutz has one of the best off-day programs of the meeting going. A turf race at one and onesixteenth miles has drawn Fine Fettle, a recent winner; Magnus, who was recently favored on- the grass; Whirltown, Fresh Breeze, Pay Window, and others. A mile and eighth event will close the show with Deep Water, First Security, Beirut, and other proven routers trying for the honors. Horsemen have been informed that nominations for the Miss America Stakes to be run one week from Saturday, close Thursday.
