Nominate Coleman and Lindy For Michigan HBPA Post DETROIT, Mich., May 3.0. — The Michigan Division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association held a business session last evening. Nominations were made for vice-president and committee men. Walter Coleman, widely known for his past efforts with the HBPA and H. W. Lindy, Motor City chiropodist and thor- oughbred owner, were nominated for the vice-presidency. The following turfmen were nominated for the Michigan divsion committee; George White, Ray Grundy, Kenneth Noe, Henry Forrest, Charles Kranz, "Norman Hernandez, Joseph Gunther, Adelard La-moureux, J. La Belle, Mark Leach, Charles Nicholas, Burt Fields, Tom Graham, Charles White, Henry Johnson and Gene Lotti. The HBPA divisional election will be held Thursday, June 7. Ballot boxes will be placed at both Hazel Park and the Detroit race tracks. HBPA members, licensed in thes tate of Michigan, who will not be present on election day, may apply for proxy ballots from Mrs. Audrey Gabel, acting secretary-treasurer of the organization. Mrs. Gabel can be reached care of the Michigan Racing Association track, Plymouth, Michigan.
