CAJAC, between horses during the initial quarter mile, went to the front after leaving the backstretch, quickly established a good lead and won with speed in reserve. CHOW LINE, outrun to the stretch, finished well under punishment, but was unable to seriously threaten the* winner. LITTLE DANNY, a sharp factor from the start, faltered after displaying early speed. BONA ETERNAL raced wide through the stretch. TEDDY CHICK tired after racing forwarly placed until inside the stretch. GOLDEN EARRING could not keep up after starting fast. SUFFKI, never far back, responded to strong handling during the stretch run and was up to dead-heat with BABY COMET for first. BABY COMET went to the front at cnce, established a clear advantage during the first half mile and, continuing gamely during the drive, lasted to finish on equal terms with SUFFKI. D0NKE SERENADE raced evenly in a good effort and had no excuse. piXIET FLYER failed to rally when set down through the stretch. COUNTESS MOLLY began slowly and was never prominent. COOL JUDGMENT assumed command at the start, made the pace to the stretch under steady rating, then gamely withstood a long drive and lasted to withstand ACTNICE. The latter, forwardly placed and saving ground from the start, was taken out slightly for the stretch run and, closing fast under punishment, was getting to the winner at the finish. BIG HERALDER lacked early speed, but closed fast. VERAN0 held on well in a good effort and had no mishap. I0NA U. was outrun. ONWARD MARCH could not keep up. ALSCH0L, forced back nearing the stretch, came again when clear and, responding to punishment, was up in the last strides, but won with little left. KINGARVIE, never far back, ,was kept to the outside for the stretch run, reached the lead between calls nearing the finish, but could not withstand the top one. CEDRIC gradually improved position during the first half mile, but could not reach the leaders while under strong handling. TACONY, fractious at the post, began fast, made the pace until inside the stretch while engaging PLAY AT, then weakened. PLAY AT gave way during the drive ILLUSTRATE lacked early speed and was blocked during the stretch run. RAVEN REWARD could not keep up. CHIC BIT was outrun. Overweight— Raven Reward, 1 pound.
