Won driving; second and third the same. LITTLE MILLY disposed of MY WASH with a rush on the final turn, then in a long drive gamely withstood MR. ZIPPO. The latter, away alertly, dropped back soon after the start, responded readily wTien roused for the drive and, under punishment, rapidly was wearing down the top one. MY WASH gave way to the winner after three furlongs, then held on willingly to easily be best of ite others. SHAFFIE failed fo attain the-lead and tired. SGT. BROWN was always between horses. PATMIBOY saved ground during the early running, Came out for the drive, but was not good enough. CINDER KING closed with a belated rush and appears ready for a good route effort. SOUTH COVERT rallied too late to become a menacing factor. DASHA made the pace for five-furlongs, then faltered. FAIR PORTER retired steadily after possessing brief speed. NIFTY failed to stay. BIT 0 PROSE showed nothing. VOLT was sent to the front immediately after the beginning, held sway to the furlong marker while under steadying restraint, drifted out badly during the late stages while tiring, but had enough left to prevail over DOCEAN. The latter moved up boldly on the inside entering the stretch and closed with good courage. SNEAKY PETE finished determinedly and gradually was getting to the leaders. VIRGINIA DUKE made up some ground when hard ridden through the stretch. WEE FOURS had no apparent excuse. ORMES TOWN quit. TIA -was through early while racing on the outside. RAIDER LaRUE, slow to reach best stride, came to the middle of the track for the drive and, after disposing of FOXY V., gamely held GRACE MAE. The latter, guided to the inside for the stretch run, closed resolutely in a sharp effort. FOXY V. began to shorten stride midway of the final furlong and, under brisk urging, was unable to hold the top ones. WINTER PAIR closed a gap. BIG QUESTION tired. ROYAL IRISH began tardily and lost all chance. SILVER SENATOR, much used early, had nothing left FLYING CIRCLE and the others were never formidable. SPRING CHIMES failed to gain the lead, and tired. LUTZ GIRL appeared to dislikCthe going. BLEU MANTLE was not unduly persevered with when hopelessly beaten. PRINCESS LYGIA made the pace to the stretch without urging and increased her advantage thereafter to win with speed in reserve. MISS BREAK raced in nearest pursuit of the winner from the start, was unable to reach the latter during the stretch run, but was easily best of the others. LITTLE SNOW was sent into closer contention on the far turn, but lacked a menacing rally. HADNT ORTER* bore in during the late stages and as a result was unable to seriously menace the leaders. ELAINE RUTH began fastest, but was unable to keep up. DEAR LILLIAN lacked speed. ROCK GARDEN was forced to take up when in close on the far turn and swerved during the drive. BLOOM was eliminated when impeded nearing the three-sixteenths marker. SWELL DISH tired. FANCY STEP never threatened. OIL PRINCESS gave way suddenly after three-sixteenths of a mile.
