Bill Moved to Second Reading SPRINGFIELD, HI., June 9.— House Bill 1105, which proposes to increase the tax on pari-mutuels at running tracks 1 per cent to make the total "take" at Chicago-land tracks 14 per cent, was moved up to second reading in the House yesterday. Wednesday the Senate Executive Committee postponed action on the bill. The legislature is scheduled to adjourn June 30. According to provisions of the bill, the proceeds from the added tax would be used to help finance downstate county fairs and-a Chicago lake front exposition.
