That one should have served as a tightener. WHIRL BY— Intermediate plater has displayed decided partiality for turf course. Could score at next asking if not too ambitiously placed. JOHN C. C— Shifty two-year-old lacked racing room when making stretch bid last time. Tab for future score. COUNTESS IN— Drop in classification is all that is needed to assure victory for this veteran sprinter. ARNTJ3— Failed to make up appreciable ground when unleashing stretch run last time. Appears capable of turning back ,500 to ,000 rivals. JETSAM — This allowance sprinter has been training cleverly and could score at next asking if not too ambitiously placed. CLEAR DAY— Connections should find a suitable spot for this better-than-average speedster in near future. Morning trials have been satisfactory. IN CLOVER — Highly regarded youngster should not be much longer in earning initial set of brackets. . TRIM BULL — Three-year-old maiden has shown improvement in recent outings. Best suited at sprint distances. DOMINION— Comes from smartly trained unit which sends its charges postward fit and ready. Appears to have regained winning form. WORCESTER — Made up world of ground in sprint when defeated by One Rose. This one undoubtedly would prefer a longer distance. FLEETERTHAN— Was forced to take the overland route throughout last time. Merits another chance against similar opposition. FLATBUSH— Defeated the narrowest of margins by Shining Deed in latest test and improvement from that race can be expected.
