It will bring to the post a field of 10, included in which will be the S. Carpenter entry of On the River and Shining Deed, both of whom have been victorious at this meeting. The distance of the Hindoo is eight furlongs and it should suit the 10-year-old §hining Deed quite well for he came from, off the pace to beat Flatbush by a neck in a seven-furlong outing last Thursday. On the River, who was acquired by Carpenter via the claiming route at the Sportsmans Park meeting, also is a strong finisher and in his one triumph at this meet he showed he could turn it on in the stretch when he came from fifth place to down. Dance Bud in clear-cut fashion. Others seeking honors in the Domino are Dan Cataldos Castile, who won a route event here this week only to be disqualified for fouling and placed second ;*N. L. H. VanBergs Dominion, with two seconds to his credit here; Jack A. Chambers Big Road, a very consistent sort; Mrs. C. Greenes Pic Me; Saganaush Stables Steeple Jack, and P. E. and E. P. Cocklans Yale. • | Woolford Sends Out Entry - With the exception, of the opening event, which is at one and one-eighth mile, and the nightcap, which is at one and one -sixteenth miles on the turf ,»all other races are sprints. Probably the best of the short distance affairs is the Hanover at six furlongs, which will come fifth on the bill. Woolford Farm has named an entry in this in The-onetobeat and Beseech. The latter is on the also eligible list. Both of the Woolford sophomores have yet to face the starter and several others in the maiden event will be making their racing debuts. Of those who have seen action at this meeting, Trim Bull appears to be ready for his diploma. He came north from Churchill Downs with two good runner-up races under his belt and finished in the same position here this week after leading for most of the way in a mile race which went to Peter Vinegar.
