Bearer of Olympic Torch Welcomed in Danish Town RANDERS, Denmark, June 28 UP. Half the population of Randers a town of 50,000 inhabitants met the Olympic Torch when it arrived at the local stadium tonight en route to the fifteenth Olympiad, which begins next month at Helsinki, Finland. A relay of Danish runners brought the torch from Aalborg during the day. The last runner placed it in the hands of Karen Hoff, the towns Olympic gold medalist of the 1948 kayak event. Miss Hoff then carried the torch out of the stadium and gave it to the first of the runners who will carry it to Aarhus. The flame is scheduled to reach Copenhagen Monday evening during a track meet at Oesterbro Stadium.
