Scrub Wins Third in Row ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, June 28. A. W. Messersmiths Scrub turned in his third consecutive victor in four starts at the meeting in the Ascot Special, feature offering for the day. With jockey Leonard Lombardi in the saddle, the Challador gelding scored by three lengths over O. and R. Pollocks Colonel Pap who had the saddle services of Howard Craig. The latter nosed out R. K: McGreerys Solar Lad for show money and was one-half of a length in front of the A. and H. Stables Safe Arrival. The winner returned a ?4.80 mutuel, as the favorite.
