List Owners, Trainers on New HBPA Central Division Board LINCOLN FIELDS, Crete, 111., June 22.— At the recent election of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association officers for the coming year, Joseph C. Ko-hout, the incumbent president of the Central division of the organization, was unanimously returned to office. Owners elected to the board were: H. D. Maggio, with 417 votes; Emil Denemark, with 410; and Morris Ginsberg, with 405. The balloting among the trainers nominated as committeemen was spirited. Those elected and their tally were: Joe Podesta, 307; Paul Larvis, 285; Howard Wells, 269; R. Harold Raines, 259; Robert Cameron, 249; Jake Lowenstein, 237, and W. H. Bishop, 237. Others in the field were: John Beck, 148; Frank Nugent, 135; John Oglesby, 116; S. Bryant Ott, 90; Sidney A. Alexander, 83; Joe Lombardo, 68, and Elmer Italensky, 68.
