Y., June 22.— Greentree Stables Palm Tree and, Diving Board, both of whom are eligible for the thirty-seventh running of the Dwyer Stakes to be decided here Saturday, July 3, visited the Belmont Park main strip for additional preps this morning. Palm Tree, who was called upon for a seven-furlong trial, completed his assignment in 1:28% over the fast strip, and apparently was under stout* restraint. Diving Board skipped si* furlongs in 1:17%. The Cain Hoy Stables Armageddon, who is regarded a certain, starter in Saturdays Edgemere Handicap, was sent a mile hi preparation for the nine furlongs of the 5,000 added event. Without undue difficulty the five-year-bid son of Alsab— Pight-ing Lady traversed the assigned yardage in 1 : 41% . Domquil, .owned by William Haggin Perry, was called upon for a mile trial, which he steped in 1:43%, handily. Two of the more prominent contenders for the Distaff Handicap down for decision Monday also were seen in action. The Brookmeade* Stables Tritium breezed five furlongs in 1:03%. Thomas P. Whites shifty Miss Weesie was sent six furlongs in 1:15%. The Distaff, which is to have its initial running this year, attracted the nominations of 41 of the better fillies and mares in the eastern sector. From recent preps it is obvious that a bulky field will answer the bugle for the seven-furlong affair, which will carry a 5,000 added endowment.
