| Straight Face Taken Out of Serious Training AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 22.— Greentree Stables Straight Face, recent winner of the rich Suburban Handicap, has been taken out of serious training: for the moment as a result of a few shaky steps taken after his last workout. The trouble seems to be centered in the same knee which caused trouble for the Count Fleet gelding in the past. Straight Face had been declared from this Saturdays Edgemere Handicap, but his connections did not appear to hold any thoughts of running in the 525,000-added handicap. Straight Face is due to be weighted for the 850,000 Brooklyn by handican-per John B. Campbell on Monday, July 5. The mile and a quarter classic is scheduled for Saturday, July 10, closing day of the meeting, and at present the Greentree colorbearer must be considered among those doubtful to start.
