Connaught Cancels Its Tuesday Program; Hold Card for Today CONNAUGHT PARK, Hull, Quebec, June 22. — It was announced by general manager Thomas P. Gorman that Tuesdays twilight program for seven races would be postponed for the day, and the original card drawn by secretary James Phelan, would be run on Wednesday, June 23. Entries for the Wednesday program were slow in filling and after a conference with his secretary, Gorman decided shortly after 1:00 p. m. to cancel todays program, due to inclement weather and schedule the Tuesday card for tomorrow. Further shipments are expected to bolster the horse colony and the days lapse would benefit the runners greatly. So far only 200 thoroughbreds are registered, which makes it extremely difficult in filling the daily programs. As far as it can be learned at the moment the canceled days program will be ran later to filfull the full 14 days schedule by the Connaught Park Jockey Club
