Get Ready Purse Carded As Prep for New Castle DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 22. — Stables with candidates for Delaware Parks 00,000 added New Castle Handicap, worlds richest race for fillies and mares to be run July 5, were reminded by racing secretary J. Gilbert Haus that a 0,000 New Castle prep race is scheduled at the Stanton track on Monday, June 28. This mile and a sixteenth allowance event, called the "Get Ready- Purse," comes at an ideal time for helping to put New Castle aspirants on edge for the mile and a quarter closing day classic. The conditions of the "Get Ready" Purse read: "For fillies, three-year-olds, which were not nominated for the Delaware Oaks, and fillies and mares four-year-olds and upward. Three-year-olds, 113 poundsj older, 124 pounds. Non-winners of 0,000 at a mile or over in 1953-54, allowed three pounds; 5,000 at a mile or over in 1954, six pounds; ,500 or three races at a mile or over, nine pounds; ,000 or two races any distance in 1953-54, 12 pounds; ,250, 15 pounds. Claiming races not considered in estimating allowances. "
