Stewards Rulings LINCOLN FIELDS, Crete, 111., June 22. — The stewards here today issued the following ruling: "It is recommended to the Illinois Racing Board that the owners and trainers licenses issued to Leo Cooper, of 501 South Joliet, Wilmington, 111., be revoked for violation of Illinois Racing Board rule No. 215, section A, deals with false statements on enterprises, and section F, deals with false statements on license applica-• tion . Further entry of the horses, Red Primrose, Babs Boy, and Bouncing Bern is refused pending their sale to a person or persons approved by the stewards." MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, . N. J., June 22. — The stewards today issued the following rulings: "Jockey William Hartack is suspended for 10 racing days June 24 through July 5, 1954 for careless riding on the backstretch in the second race of June 21, 1954, at Monmouth Park. "Jockey Basil James on No. 9, Clotted Cream, is suspended for 10 racing days from June 24 through July 5 for careless riding on the backstretch in the sixth race of June 21, 1954, at Monmouth Park." FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 22. — The stewards issued the-following ruling here June 19: "After a thorough investigation of the finish of the fifth race Friday night, June 18 in which the horse Spizerinktom finished second and was disqualified for interfering with horses from the one-sixteenth pole to the finish wire, jockey Frank Keene is held blameless." LANSDOWNE PARK, Vancouver, B. C., June 22. — The stewards issued the following rulings under date of June 18: "Jockey W. Filipchuk is suspended for three days, Saturday June 19, Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26. While riding French Tower in the eighth race on Thursday, June 17 he crossed over on the field causing Martinez on Swishing to take up sharply. "Jockey A. Martinez is fined 5 for fighting in the jockey quarters after the eighth race Thursday, June 17." FAIRMOUNT. PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 22. — The stewards announced the following ruling here today. "Owner-trainer Frank Clayton Pearson, is hereby fined the sum of S25 for being late in the paddock with the horse Awakened lor the eighth race Saturday night, June 19, 1954." WOODBINE PARK, Toronto, Ontario, June 22. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Apprentice jockey Robert Wright is suspended for five days June 24-29, inclusive for failing to have proper control of his mount in the backstretch during the running of the first race on Monday, June 21."
