See Possibility of Night Harness Sport at Brinfield Pk. COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 22. — Possibility of night harness racing at Brinfield Park, Talmadge, Ohio, near Warren, loomed today following the receipt of a letter by the state racing commission from C. G. Kelly, Akron realtor. Kelly wrote he heads a group that recently purchased Brinfield Park with the hope of introducing night harness racing there in 1955. Brinfield Park has been dormant several years. Commission secretary Ed Corrigan said backers of the project first must obtain the signatures of at least 51 per cent of the registered voters in the township endorsing the projeet before the board could consider an application for dates. The petition must be obtained in order to comply with an Ohio law which went into effect two years ago, Corrigan said.. The law did not apply to tracks that were in existence and the scene of legalized pari-mutuel wagering prior to its passage, ccordimLtoCorrigan
