BARTHS-BELLE, reserved within striking distance f the pace, responded when put to pressure, assumed command and withstood the challenge of SILK QUEST, he latter worked her way up on the extreme outside, engaged for command in the late stages, but was not lood enough. EXPORT TRADE improved his position gradually on extreme outside. BULL KEYS, a forward actor, came through along the inside with a late rally. MISS SICLETTE went along with the pace until the inal turn and weakened. MYSTIC GOLD closed a gap under late pressure: PIP PIP had no mishap. STARK l/VINS showed speed for a half mile and weakened. UNIZANO flattened out. UNCLES MISS was unable to :eep up. HARTLEY showed brief speed and quit. STEERSMAN improved his position steadily in a good effort. LENITY rallied from off the pace with a belated rush. RJPPLE AIR weakened after forcing the pace. MY RUTHIE broke alertly, established the pace for five furlongs and shortened stride. PUSH BROOM showed an even effort. BRAVE LASS had no mishap. BEST BUY showed speed for a half mile and retired. JAKES JEST showed nothing. WINGDINGER, sluggish in the first half, was going stoutly at the end. The others were outrun. REIGHS LASS, close up early, was unhurried while kept within striking distance of the leaders, moved to the outside when roused, responded to steady pressure I and was along to outfinish PERT CHIC. The latter, forced to take up on the final turn, was sent inside and between horses, closed stoutly, but was not good enough. RED LIPS alternated in setting the pace, was bothered repeatedly and came in bumping STEWY through the stretch. GLAMORAMA was forced back on the far turn, came outside and was going well at the end. STEWY broke alertly, went along with the pace, swerved repeatedly and weakened in the drive. PHANTOM EYE, close up and along the inside, was forced to take up sharply nearing the final turn and failed to rally in time to threaten. BIRD BELL was shuffled back when crowding occcured. EXTRA FIVE was outrun. BOUNDING MISS showed brief speed and went very wide into the stretch. The stewards flashed the inquiry sign and, after observing the picture, disqualified RED LIPS and placed her last. KAREN L. moved close to the pace after five furlongs, gained clear lead and faltered, CUB HUNT dropped back steadily under restraint and failed to respond when roused. BARBINO was outrun. XIPPI PIGEON, unhurried while allowed to settle into best stride, moved willingly when roused, circled the field to reach command inside the final furlong and drew out. FLOOR BOSS moved close to the pace soon after the start, came inside entering the stretch, responded to pressure but was not good enough. ROY PRINCE broke alertly, gave way and regained the lead after a quarter mile, dominated the pace into the stretch and weakened. BATTLE CHIEF closed with good energy along the, inside. LITTLE COLLEEN, sluggish in the early stages, was lugging in through the stretch, hampering rider. PLUCKY WILLIE bullied his way between horses in the late stages. ARMONK, slow to settle into stride, was going stoutly at the end. AMERICAN PILOT stopped. SHEER WORTH was outrun. FLYING CIRCUS flattened out badly after a half mile. ARLETOD worked his way up on the outside to gain a forward position entering the stretch, bore in slightly hampering the rider and was along in the final yards to outfinish COHERENCE. The latter raced in close attendance of the pace, responded to stout pressure in the drive and just missed. KENTUCKY HOME assumed command soon after thestart, drew clear after a half mile, maintained the lead under stout urging in the drive, but was not good enough. HAL-FLEAM challenged mildly along the inside, but was not good enough. SILLY MINNIE lacked a late rally. MESMER showed a dull effort.
