4 Announce Weights For Valley Forge Iron Liege Gets 126; Find, Sharpsburg 119 in Opening Feature at Garden State CAMDEN, N. J., April 30. — Calumet Farms Iron Liege, winner of the McLennan Handicap, has been assigned top weight of 126 pounds for Saturdays 5,-000 added Valley Forge Handicap at Garden State Park. This opening-day fixture is decided at 1 mile and 70 yards and is open to three-year-olds and up. Calumet was the nations leading money-winner in 1957 with earnings of ,150,910, to which Iron Liege contributed 12,625. The Bull Lea colt won eight races last year, including the Kentucky Derby. His other victories came in the Jersey Stakes here, Laurance Armour Memorial and Sheridan Handicap. Calumets Fabius and Pintor Lea get in the Valley Forge with 116 and 112, respectively. Two Pegged at 119 Sharpsburg, formerly owned by Calumet, but now racing for Roy E. Faircloth. gets in with 119 pounds, as does Alfred G. Van-derbilts Find. Sharpsburg has not been worse than second in a year.
