Success With Golden Kernel WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling, W.Va., April 30.— When Golden Kernel won here yesterday Pat Santo, trainer for the Costa Rica Stable, who is commuting between this track and Fort Erie, departed for the Canadian track to look after the division of horses he has In training here. Last year Santo purchased Golden Kernel for a reputed 5 and since acquiring the nine-year-old has won close to ,000 with the veteran. The conditioner expects to return here this week end.
