Increase Maumee Purses MAUMEE DOWNS, Maumee, Ohio, April 30. — Jack Klucina, racing secretary here, announced that the management will increase the purses here next week. Beginning with the second edition of the condition book that will be distributed among horsemen here on Monday the purse increases will amount to approximately 00 or 00 a day more than the purses listed in the first edition of the condition book which embraced the first 10-day period.
