PIMLICO TURF NOTES I PIMLICO. Md., May f,. A. R. Alexandra, O. A. Pons and C. E. Murray have arranged to leave with their stables for the Woodbine track today. All of the Bryson mares have been removed from the Devers Farm at Perryman over to the De Moss Farm in the long green valley hack of Timonium. The mares. Positive, Flora R, Oartier and Gilt Fringe, have been bred to Sedge Field. Sam l»uis purchased at private sale of J. Purttschell this morning the useful racer lounger, and he will be included in the band that Louis will ship from here to Collinsville at the conclusion of the meeting. The stewards issued the following notice after the running of the steeplechase : "The rule* provide that in steeplechases, if a rider presents himself to be weighed in two 2 pounds short of weight, his horse is disqualified." Under this rule the stewards were obliged to disqualify the mare Casette. as when weighed in, her rider showed but 131 pounds. While being galloped this morning the Seagram two-year-old Sarmatic was kicked on his hind leg by a stable companion which became frightened by a lcose horse on the track. G. T. Miller, who has been here with seventeen of the Mrs. L. A. IJvingston horses j since March 20. is quite enthusiastic over I his charges. Twelve of them are Canadian- I bred two-year-olds, a majority by Lovetie and Kingship and brothers and sisters to •some fair horses. They came out of winter quarters in grand condition and promise to cut an important figure in Canadian racing during the summer. The entire band go from here to Toronto. The three-year-olds in the string are Prince of Power, Fatal Dart. Blending Beauty, Hecake and White Caps. Jockey jL Fator and William Karriek came over from New York this morning. Karriek saddled Black Maria in the Oaks and Fator rode her. Sande was another arrival. He had the mount on Lee Rosenbergs Ingrid. Both boys returned to New York tonight. J. P. Billy Barton, a Cuban Derby winner, which has developed into the best cross-country horse at the hunts meeting, is in much demand. His owner, Howard Bruce, recently turned down an offer of 0,000 for the horse from Benjamin lx slie Barr of Chicago. Robert Walden reports that Genuine is rounding into condition. It developed that the colt did not grab himself, but was jumped on during the race. Two of the cuts are front and another on the inside of his forelegs. The accident came in a jam which occurred soon after the start and even then, according to starter Milton, the colt was full ■ of run, which shows that he is a good, game racer. I G. W. Foreman acquired the racer Char- lotte via the claming route yesterday when he took him out of the last race for |2,500. T. Sullivan purchased the three year-old Superfine and will ship him and Cave Woman from here to Toronto. »
