■ I NEW RECRUIT FOR SPORT PIMLICO, Md., May 5.-R. J. Waldon acting for A. H. Morris, today disposed of four two-year-olds and one three-vear-old at private sale to O. F. Burkart. a well-known sportsman of Toronto, who is here forthe Pimhco meeting. Mr. Burkart will be remembered as a member of the famous Argonaut rugby team. Canadian champions for a couple of years. The transfer of two-year-olds included ■ Merry Jest, by Transvaal— Merriment II : Artesian, b. c, by Transvaal— Arlette ; Heartache, br. f, by Hire aux Larmes— Heart-string ; Amen Ru. br. c, by Rire aux Larmes —Incognito, and the three-year-old Ensile br. f. by Transvaal— Silo. Mr. Burkart contemplates racing a couple of the voungsters here and, at the conclusion of the meeting the entire band will be shipped to Toronto with the D. R. McDaniel string
