HORSEMANS SUDDEN DEATH LEXINGTON, Ky.. May ."..Much regret was expressed by horsemen over the sudden death this morning of John H. Nichols, one of the best known horsemen in central Kentucky. According to his wife, Mr. Nichols was shot in the lung by the accidental discharge of a shotgun that he kept in their bedroom. He was rushed to the hospital but expired shortly after arriving at the institution. Besides his widow. Mr. Nichols irf survived by a brother, S. K. Nichols, another well known horseman.
