: : — — — ~*g -v j RIDE POMPEY IN DERBY NKW YORK, N. Y., May 5.— Jockey La-verne Fator, contract rider for the Rancocas Stable, will more than likely ride W. R. Coes 1ompey in the Kentucky Derby. Pompey will be shipped from Belmont Park Monday to Louisville, Ky., and given slow work at that point to keep him on edge. Trainer S. C. Hildreth of the Rancocas stable was asked by Mr. Coe for Fators services but Hildreth did not give a definite answer but it is almost certain that he will permit Fator to ride.
