LEXINGTON TURF NOTES LEXINGTON, Ky., May 5. With todays close of the Lexington meeting there came a general scattering of horsemen and racing patrons. The majority were bound for Ix uisville where the meeting opens next Saturday. Owing to a lack of train facilities between this city and Louisville quite a number of persons had to defer their departure for the latter city until Thursday morning. The busses plying between the two cities were liberally patronized tonight Jack Keene gave his annual dinner to about twenty intimate friends at his Keeneland Stud Tuesday night. Among the guests were : W. H. Shelley. T. C. Bradlev. Noah McClelland, Charles H. Hughes, Harry Laud-erman, Leo Marks. John Whitlow, Sam C j Nuckols, S. S. Combs, Jim Peed, John I Mclaughlin. Andy Boardman, Dr. Coover, Walter S. Payne, Fred Forsythe. Warreii Frazier, Fred Ryan and Tom Scott. A special train consisting of seven horse cars and a day coach left over the Ixniisviltc I and Nashville this morning for Iouisville. Among the stables represented in the ship-1 ment were those of C. Van Dusen, Will Per- I kins, C. Van Meter, F. H. Grabner, J. N. Camden. K. P. OMeara and John Lowe. The horses of L. T. Cooper were transported to Churchill Downs as were Rolla Colstons Gaberdine and Glenister II. Among the stables to make their exodus tomorrow are those of A. Baker, A. B. Hancock, R. S. Clark, W. E. Hupp, R. C. Frakes and D. T. Morris. Breast Plate, R. S. Clark *e Derby colt, impressed the workout watchers when he also negotiated the route of a mile and an eighth in 1 :55%. He went the mile in 1 :42V.
