T AURORA TURF NOTES ? and §► AURORA. 111.. April 30. Patrol judge Martin reported ill today and remained at his hotel for the day. Arthur P.lanchard substituted for him during his absence. Jockey C. Yates, who was recently signed to a contract to do the riding for Phil Reuter. had his first mount of the meeting on Clique in the fourth race. The track was free from Water today and, with continued good weather, the course should be of the slow variety for Mondays racing. Joe Ctarrinch, who was in charge of the mutuel departments at the Tampa and Jefferson Park meetings the past winter, was a visitor at Exposition Park today, before paying a visit to his home in Montreal, Cjuebec.
