" ~HAVRE DE GRACE NOTEsl • i, HAVRE DE GRACE. Md., April 30. A. C. Bostwick. whose extensive string is being trained by J. Healy, was a visitor. Mr. Bostwick is a recent "arrival from England where he spent the past winter riding at the different hunts. J. T. Kermath, who trains the jumpers in the W. J. Salmon stable, was an arrival at Pimlico this morning. The Whitney racer Rlonclin worked out an extra quarter in the Fleetwood Handicap Friday and went the mile in 1 AQ%. Workman, who was injured Friday, was forced to cancel the seven mounts he had for Saturday. The lad was leading the other jockeys, with ten winning mounts to his credit. He was anxious to win the gold medal offered by general manager Edward Burke for the most successful jockey at the meeting. Workman will probably win the medal at that, as he is four mounts in front of his nearest rival. D. Emery. Six of the Seagram Stable horses will remain at Havre De Grace during the Pimlico meeting. After Pimlico the entire stable will be concentrated here and shipped to Toronto. J. Phillips announced that he would send his stable from here to Fairmount Park. Secretary Joseph McLennan leaves for Jamaica on Monday to interest horsemen in the stakes to be run at the Toronto meetings. The contract held by C. A. Coyle on the apprentice. W. Barr, ha.s been trensferred to the Audley Farm Stable.
