RECOGNIZES MASS. COMMISSION NEW YORK, N. Y., April 3. The Jockey Club announces that as a state racing commission has been appointed in Massachusetts, it has withdrawn its jurisdiction over the sport in that state. This is a formal gesture, The Jockey Club recognizing the superior power of the Massachusetts commission in its own territory.
