MAYOR KELLYS RECORD VOTE Edward J. Kelly was elected mayor of Chicago Tuesday by a vote of 798,150. His plurality over his nearest opponent was 631,579 with a majority over both his rivals of 543,853. He carried every one of the fifty wards in the city. None of these records r ever have been approached before since Chicago became a great metropolis. With the exception of one high vote record held in New York, twice the size of Chicago, Mayor Kelly smashed all records of all large cities in the United States.
