j GENERAL NEWS OF THE DAY j The Illinois State Supreme Court Wednesday denied petitions for rehearing in the John Bain bank conspiracy case and Mrs. Myrtle Tanner Blacklidges heart balm case. James Mullenbach, nationally known labor arbitrator, churchman and educator, died Wednesday at the Chicago Memorial Hospital, after an illness of several months. For the first time in history, a Pope will address the people of the entire world in a broadcast when Pius XI. imparts his blessings from the balcony of St. Peters on Easter, April 21.
