The latter, under strong handling while reaching the lead, drew away in the stretch, but weakened fast in the last stages. MISS COG benefited at the break, gave way to the leaders, was in close quarters nearing the final quarter and closed fast when clear. EARTH SHAKER, well up from tlie start, was shuffled back entering the stretch and finished strong. PETER RUSSELL made up ground. RADIATOR was outrun. SWEEPOGAN quit. MONASTIC, outrun for a half mile, made up ground thereafter. GRACIOUS GIFT had a rough trip. ODD BLUE failed to improve his early position under strong urging and stopped in the last eighth. LEFT OVER, in close quarters and on the outside from the start, held on well. ATTRACTION, outrun for a half mile, finished strongly. ALL DEVIL tired. BUGABOO began slowly and shuffled back at the far turn, making up little ground m the drive. HIGH HAND II. was outrun. COIN was blocked when racing forwardly and showed little thereafter. RICHSTRIKE, in close quarters early, and forced to go to the outside for room, held on well. KINGSBURY tired. McCARTHY, outrun for three-eighths, came around the field for the drive, finished strong and worked out a mile. EPAULET jumped in the air at the start and made up little ground.
