N. Y. SUBWAY WORKERS STRIKE NEW YORK, N. Y., April 3 About 500 more workers on the independent subway system walked out in sympathy with members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, who are on strike in protest of an alleged low-scale rate of pay. Union officials state that there are at present 2,500 workers on strike.
