RELATIVITY, slow to find her racing stride, as usual, moved sharply into contention on the outside leaving the back stretch, overhauled the leaders at the eighth post and reached the front in the final strides. ROCK CREST, close up all the way, disposed of BARTER inside the eighth post, but hung in the last fifty yards. BARTER, alert at the barrier, slipped through on the inside to take command in the first eighth, but tired under pressure when the real issue came. FAN lacked her usual early speed, raced far out of it for a half mile, but finished with courage to overhaul tiring horses. BUBBLING OUT had no excuse. KINGS BOUNTY had good early speed, took Command on the back stretch, saved ground on the inside on- the turn, drew out in the stretch, but was kept under pressure to the finish. MR. CHINK, close up from the beginning, secured racing room between horses entering the stretch and closed stoutly. RIGHTFOOT always a forward factor, raced evenly and held on well. BATTLE OF KILLIECRANKIE, well rated off the pace in the early racing, came to the outside of thtf leaders in the stretch and gradually wore down MELOY. The latter assumed command at the half-mile post,- drew out in the stretch andheld on well. NOBLE SPIRIT saved ground on the inside throughout, but could not better his position. DIE CAST, rated closest to HAPPY WARRIOR in the early racing, secured racing room on the inside-entering the stretch and held on well. HAPPY WARRIOR was sent into a long early lead, saved ground but was made too much use of in the early racing. FLYING HEELS n., a distant early trailer, closed a good.1 gap. The others showed nothing.
