CLEVELAND FORM IS TRUE . - Favorites Triumph in Majority of Races at Bainbridge Park. Bunty Ann Outstays Dark Koamer in Long , Stretch. Duel Weather Cool but Clear. CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 31. Formful racing marked the second days sport at Bainbridge Park today and although there was the usual reaction following a holiday there still was a large crowd out to witness the sport. The feature race was a dash of five and a half furlongs for three-year-olds and it went to Mrs. E. B. Shiyps Bunty Ann in the closest finish of the day. Another race of unusual interest was the sixth, over three-quarters. The latter brought together six older sprinters. A ding dong stretch duel between the winner and Dark Roamer was decided in the final stride where the Shipp filly pushed her nose in front, Dark Roamer going down in heart-breaking fashion as he had led from the far turn and put forth a stubborn, though vain battle in his tussle with the winner. Whoa Back, which finished third, was in that position throughout. Others in the small field went to the post at long odds. The winner was ridden by F. Polk and raced the distance in 1:06. She was among many public choices to finish in front. Although cool, the weather was bright and while not as warm as yesterday it was favorable for the sport. The track was fast. The third and seventh races were transposed from their original positions to provide a larger field for the "Quinella," which is sold on the closing race daily.
