edward Mclaughlin dies LEXINGTON, Ky., May 31. Edward McLaughlin, 66, died in his sleep early this morning in his home here. He was widely known in racing circles, being a brother of John B. McLaughlin, supervisor of pari-mutuels on the Kentucky tracks and brother-in-law of Auval "Jack" Baker, noted trainer. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Gray McLaughlin, three sisters, Mrs. Auval Baker, Misses Nannie and Margaret McLaughlin; three brothers, Matthew J., John B., and James McLaughlin, and two nephews and. a niece. He retired from business several years ago after it was discovered that he was afflicted with a heart ailment that caused his death.
