LATONIA TURF NOTES $ $ The third suspension of the day was meted out by the Latonia stewards when jockey Glen Fowler was suspended for five days for cutting across too sharply at the clubhouse turn in the sixth race Tuesday. He was astride Belgian Boy, the winner. Hal Price Headley was an arrival and will remain at Latonia until after the running of the Clipsetta Stakes which is scheduled for; Saturday afternoon. J. G. Goode, trainer of J. W. Parrishs string has engaged jockey Harry Louman, veteran reinsman, to pilot Perlette in the Clipsetta Stakes. Louman was uninjured when he fell Tuesday and was back in the saddle Wednesday. Jockeys Herman Schutte and Bob Fin-nerty Were engaged by Hal Price Headley to ride All Agog and Misapprehension in the ,000 added Clipsetta Stakes here Saturday. Trainer Clyde Van Dusen of the Dixiana Farm thoroughbreds indicated that he contemplates sending three of his charges to the post in the Clipsetta when he took calls on the service of Mack Garner and H. W. Fisher for the race. Charley Stevenson is the stables rider. A heavy downpour early Wednesday morning caused track superintendent Charles Nolte to put the "dogs" up for the early morning workouts but the obstacles were removed before the training period was completed. The track was not greatly affected and was termed good for the workouts. 1
