LADIES DAY AT AK-SAR-BEN Chojnacki Pilots Two of Days First Three Winners Adds to Lead Over Rivals. OMAHA, Neb., June 3. Apprentice Fv Chojnacki, leading rider of the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting, was in fine form again Wednesday, afternoon and rode two of the first three winners at the track. He piloted Dominent Star to victory in the first race and won the third event with Alkali. Both animals were favorites and were easy winners. Another large Ladies Day crowd attended the races at Ak-Sar-Ben field Wednesday afternoon and kept the mutuel department busy dispensing tickets. The afternoon was ideal for the sport and the track had dried out so much overnight that it was almost fast. The management announced that Saturday will be Governors Day, and Governor Roy L. Cochran will attend the races. The feature event, a ,000 affair, will be known as the Governors Handicap.
