IDLE MONEY, away slowly, was gaining ground on the outside, came to the inside in the stretch and finished stoutly. MAPLE FLOWER, well placed, could not keep up. WROUGHT IRON, displaying good speed, finished gamely. MONEY MUDDLE, unable to keep up, finished stoutly on the outside. GAY NELLIE made a bold challenge entering the stretch, then faltered slightly at the end BLACK SELMA showed good courage and was gaining ground. OVERSTIMULATE, far back for the first seven-eighths, moved around on the outside with a rush on the turn, swerved down between horses in the last twenty yards and finished going fast. PLAYOFF, well up at all times, secured a brief lead at the stretch head, but faltered in the last stages. OUR SHIP, well up at all times, also secured the lead between calls, but hung in the final drive. MISS ALPHONSO, far in the rear most of the way, made up much ground.
