I OMAHA TURF NOTES $ - Jockey A. Gray was fined 0 for striking jockey F. Rife with his whip during the running of the seventh race Monday. The horses owned by Speelman Brothers and W. L. Hatchett got in from Kansas City. R. Buck was an arrival from Winnipeg with four head, including Mr. Bud, good han dicap performer. The horses of Carl Vollmer and Ulrich and Francis checked in from Winnipeg recently. Apprentice R. McLennan was a recent ar rival from Winnipeg. Russell Sanders, Longacres racing secre tary, left for Winnipeg Monday night. J. Kingsley Macomber, steward, representing the California Horse Racing Board, df parted for Kansas City. Barney Ross, welterweight boxing cham pion of the world, will be the guest of th-Ak-Sar-Ben management Saturday and w i decorate the winner of the feature race.
