REFUSES ALL OFFERS AGAWAM, Mass., June 17. Jockey Arthur Cooper, sensational young apprentice, who during the first seventeen days of the present Agawam meeting has ridden thirty-seven winners, twenty-one seconds and seventeen thirds, departs for Suffolk Downs to ride Thursday. Mrs. W. C. Weant, who holds the lads contract, has received many flattering offers for his contract, the latest being one of ,500, but Mrs. Weant still regards the paper as more valuable.
