VICTORY FOR BUBBLE UP Gets Up in Last Few Strides to Take Feature at Northampton Park Wednesday. AKRON, Ohio, June 17. After following the pace of Goodbye Blues until well into the stretch, Mattingly and Scamahorns Bubble Up, finishing courageously, got up to win the H. C. Turney Purse in the last few strides. This event run as the fifth race, served as the feature attraction at Northampton Park this afternoon. Goodbye Blues retained the second award from Esperanto, which raced in third place for most of the trip. Although the weather was cloudy and warm, the largest crowd of the week witnessed the racing. Favorites accounted for a fair share of the races. Harpen Belle never left the result in doubt in the sixth event, and Frances Lou led throughout in the third. Donna James, Best Man and Monocle all took command nearing the turn for home to win their respective races with considerable to spare.
