ACCEPTS TEXAS POSITION LATONIA, Ky., June 17. Samuel C. Nuck-ols, steward representing the Kentucky Racing Commission at Latonia, admitted here today that he has accepted the offer tendered him by the Texas Jockey Club to serve as one of the stewards at Arlington Downs during the Texas Jockey Club fall meeting. Judge Nuckols was reluctant to discuss the details at length, but made it quite clear that the negotiations which were opened several days ago, had reached a most satisfactory conclusion. Judge Nuckols may pay a visit to Paul and Guy L. Waggoner, prior to the opening of the fall meeting, to go over details pertaining to the racing affairs at the Arlington Downs course, one of the most popular courses in the Lone Star State.
