SCINTILLA, off to a good start, was cleverly rated off the early pace, was taken around the leaders in the last quarter and drew away to win with something in reserve. PARISIAN WITCH, always a factor, saved ground all the way and held on with good courage. MISS WARD was close up throughout and showed a good effort- GOLDEN MISSION improved his position steadily, but swerved repeatedly during the stretch racing when under punishment. BAGEN MAY was far out of it for a half mile, lost ground going around her, field and closed with a rush. SCOBINA had early speed, but was through after a half mile. ROSY DOON, slow to get going, made up ground rapidly after going a quarter of a mile, moved around the leaders in the stretch and wore down MOONSAN in the last fifty yards. The latter, never far out of it, took the lead quickly after straightening out in the stretch and held on gamely but could not withstand the winner. JESSIE D. M. displayed a good burst of speed, opened up a good lead quickly, but tired badly after a half mile. AGREEABLE, poorly handled, raced into contention, then tired in the drive. SCRIP MONEY, under strong restraint until reaching the last quarter, moved up rapidly on the outside under strong urging, disposed of FLYING JUSTICE and drew clear in the last sixteenth. FLYING JUSTICE displayed good speed under vigorous handling, gained a slight advantage in the last quarter mile, but was no match for the winner. CHEKA was close to the pace throughout and was best of the others. KAI-FINN saved ground, set a good pace under strong pressure and tired. PLAYMAY closed with a rush. Scratched 34799 Wicccs. 111. CERRO, close up under steady restraint for five-eighths, drew into command with ease, but tired badly in the last eighth. UNLAWFUL was prominent throughout, saved ground, then tired.
