1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES o Charles W. Damon, trainer of J. G. Langs Elm Tree Stable, arrived from Lincoln Fields with six horses. The Buffalo patron plans to visit here during the meeting as a guest of Henry H. Knight. The eight members of the C. V. Whitney-stable, sent here in charge of J. A. Healey, are Roustabout, Piccolo, Tatterdemalion, Peplum, Capuche, Twit, Chilhat and Pursuer. Willie Nertney accompanied the shipment and will do the riding. Mrs. Payne Whitneys Greenlree Stable has six representatives here, and the Man-hasset Stable, of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Shipman Payson and Mrs. Thomas Laghlin, one horse here in charge of Marshall Lilly. The Greentree horses are Memory Book, Black Buddy, Jamboree, Tattered, Seventh Inning and Somali. Paul Kelly arrived with ten horses to race under his own colors, Crazy Jane, belonging to Mrs. R, T. Flippen, and Sun X., owned by Mrs. C. W. Tague. Apprentice L. Guymon will do the Kelly riding. Before leaving Louisville Roscoe Goose decided to retire Foyot for the year and sent the three-year-old to Mrs. T. M. Murphys Golden Maxim Farm. From Churchill Downs Goose vanned Prum and Saranara, owned by Mr. and Mrs. John Marsch, here. Phil Reillys Petty Taw came in the same shipment. Tomorrow he will transfer the good filly Spanish Babe, owned by Mrs. F. M. Grabner, here. Warfellow and Come to Taw arrived here Thursday from Louisville. This pair, along with Petty Taw and Spanish Babe, will be campaigned here by Phil Reilly.
