FET PROVES REAL STAYER Sidney Freemans Fet, gray gelding by Son-in-Law, from Valda, by Stefan the Great, which won the Cesarewitch Stakes at Newmarket October 14 at 10 to 1, gave evidence of his readiness for that famous race by winning the Nottingham Plate, at two miles", October 5. Fet was only recently purchased by his present owner at a reasonable figure, plus contingencies in the , event the gray won both the above-mentioned races. Fet surely rates as one of the best stayers on the English turf this year.-as the "Cesarewitch is at two miles and one-quarter.
