O. M. Leer was an arrival from Kansas City, Mo., with Sir Anthony, Angold and Buntingon, which he will prepare for racing at Epsom Downs during the remainder of the meeting. Monte Preston has made arrangements to send a division of the Fred Turner, Jr, stable to Arlington Downs over the weekend. Turner will take several of his charges to the Houston track to compete in races until the close of the Epsom Downs meeting on October 24. Our Spot and Tractable make up the representatives of Goff and Barton, which got in from Kansas City, Mo., Thursday morning and were registered at the offices ol the racing secretary. G, F. Jenkins returned from Midland, Texas, where he saddled the winner of the Midland Derby last Saturday in Mrs. Bert Campbells Pompous Genie. The chestnut filly was brought back to Epsom Downs by van. E. E. Russell, who drew a suspension for the remainder of the Epsom Downs meeting as well as all of the horses under his care, sent his charges to Arlington Downs, Wednesday night, to be rested up. Russell accompanied the shipment to the Waggoner course, which will Inaugurate the fall meeting on October 22. Joe Morin checked in from Riverside Park with Lans Alice, Elegy and Joe Krieger, which he is training for the account of Mrs. Joe Morin. Ex-jockey Dave Hurn will transfer Epinel, Rich Girl and Attraction to Arlington Downs following the close of the Houston season. The promising apprentice, Eugene Harlow, under contract to Hurn, will accompany the shipment 1 ;
