CHEER STAR, at home in the going, was hustled to the front soon after the start, drew out on the turn and was in hand at the finish. AIR POCKET, outrun early while under restraint, moved up fast leaving the three-eighths post and, lucky to slip through on the rail, got up in the final few strides for the place. CHIPEXA, on the inside while holding a good position early, moved out entering the stretch when making her run and held on well. ROCKABYE BABE had good early speed, raced on the outside throughout and tired. SLEEP WELL raced wide the entire trip and faltered in the stretch. The others were outrun. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE. The latter was under good urging to take command, opened up a clear lead while saving ground and tired right at the end. CAPUCHE tired after the opening quarter. AHA was outclassed. BROTHER THOMAS impeded at the start and in close quarters at the lower turn, dropped well bck, was caught in dose quarters at the far turn and closed fast thereafter on the outside.
