SHIPPING P0MP00N TO PAWTUCKET ON OCT. 21 PAWTUCKET, R. I., Oct. 16. Jerome H. Louchheims two-year-old Pompoon, winner of the recent Belmont Futurity and a strong fav6rite in the 5,000 New England Futurity, to be run at Narragansett Park Wednesday! October 28, will arrive at the Rhode Island track October 21, his trainer, C. F. Clarke, notified the racing secretarys office this morning. Pompoon and two stablemates will be quartered in barn D andclosely guarded until after his important engagement, which will decide the two-year-old championship of America. Pompoon will be put through a mile workout at Laurel before a Saturday racing crowd this week. His final training will be done at Narragansett.
